Costalegre ®, es un corredor turístico con una combinación de playas vírgenes y pintorescos poblados, se encuentra dividido en 6 zonas: BAHÍA DE NAVIDAD, BAHÍA DE TENACATITA, COSTA CAREYES, BAHÍA DE CHAMELA, COSTA MAJAHUAS Y CABO CORRIENTES ; las cuales se distinguen una de otra por sus diferentes características geográficas, su arquitectura y las actividades que pueden desarrollarse en ellas. Adentrarse por estos lugares es descubrir paisajes costeros de selva y de montaña entre caletas, playas, esteros, islas y múltiples variantes de esta exuberante y hermosa región. Un destino versátil y fuera de lo convencional, orientado hacia la ecología.

De los litorales de las costas del Pacifico Mexicano sin lugar a duda Costalegre ®, es el más sobresaliente, a partir de la década de los noventas fue declarada por decreto presidencial Corredor Turístico Ecológico.

Un armonioso conjunto de playas que por obra de la naturaleza se reúnen en un solo espacio de un poco mas de 150 Km. de tierra espléndida.

Los más diversos deportes acuáticos y actividades terrestres, le esperan en un escenario natural de paisajes muy diversos que por su belleza son únicos, están al alcance de sus visitantes para hacer de sus vacaciones una experiencia placentera.

Costalegre ®, abarca los municipios de Cihuatlán, La Huerta y Tomatlán, así como sus litorales de Bahía de Navidad, Bahía Tenacatita, Costa Careyes, Bahía de Chamela y Costa Majahuas.

Cada una de estas litorales tiene su encanto y atractivo muy especial, que le otorgan sus playas de tranquilidad incomparable poco exploradas, vegetación extraordinaria, espectaculares acantilados, caletas de suave oleaje, misteriosos manglares y extensas zonas de selva tropical.
